Do you like Gamble ? Tazza: One Eyed Jack (2019) 타짜:원아이드잭

Tazza is the movie which has other series before. Tazza: One Eyed Jack is the third story but you don't need to watch previous series to understand this movie. If you watch other series before, you could find little connection with previous series with this.

Have you ever gamble with your life ? There are people who start with pocket money and end with the life.

 

 

Ilchul is student who is living with gamble. He plays the poker rather than studying for earning money. He has been a good player so he has gathered money until he meets Madonna. 

Ilchul fell in love to Madonna in first sight and he played the poker with a guy who seems boyfriend of her. He was confident of himself but he lost and got lot of debt because of the game.

Ilchul had no hope but he meets a person who called as One eyed. He has helped him because Ilchul's father helped him a long time ago. One eyed decided to help him so he makes a crew for him. Technician Kachi, Trickster Mr.Kwon, Actress Youngmi. They make the plan to earn money from the one who is very rich but doesn't know much about gambling. (Mr.Water)

Their plan was perfect and they were about to earn all the money. Ilchul meet Madonna again and he talked their plan to save her at least. However it was trap by Madonna again, Ilchul and people had to run away from him. One eyed has died to save Kachi and Ilchul found out who kills One eyed and his father.

If you watch all of 3 series of Tazza, you could feel this is worse than others. However, if you watch this moive as first Tazza movie, it may good enough to watch. Since first and second series were tense and had good impression, my expectaion was really high for it.

Poker is the main game of Tazza 3 which is different since previous 2 series have used Korean poker as main game. That's why maybe Tazza 3 could be more interesting for foreigners.

You can feel the world of experts and you will know why we should not do the gamble.

 

 

Between the entertaining characters and rollercoaster plot, Tazza: The One Eyed Jack is more than entertaining as crime thriller that will keep you thinking and engaged throughout

 

This was not bad to watch by paying money. We may have too high expectation for the movies. (이정도면 볼만한 상업영화였다. 눈만 높아져가지고...)

 

None of the scams that Il-chool and his gang pull are really all that clever. What's worse, they work and fail in predictable patterns for no obvious reason.

 

The story line was not strong enough to concentrate. All of things were within anticipation. (이야기에 별다른 절박함이나 사연이 없다. 하나부터 열까지 예상을 벗어나지 않는다.)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

<Conclusion>

Ilchul found out that Devil is the one who killed his father and One eyed. Also he is the one who made him to owe debt at firs time. Madonna was not his girlfriend but kind of slave.

Devil believes Madonna and he makes a deal with Mr.Water to split the money and participate the final game with Ilchul. However Ilchul already made both Madonna and Mr.Water to his teammates so he wins the game.

Devil dies in the water and Madonna goes to free.

Mr. Water planned to kill Ilchul to earn money by himself but Ilchul already bought his member so he could be alive.

Ilchul splitted earned money to his old crew and became worker who works at public organisation which his mom has wanted.
