Who is real evil person, The Gangster, the Cop, the Devil (2019) 악인전

My first impression was "There is Korean movie which has better quanlity than movie made from Hollywood". The Ganster, the cop, the devil is well made movice which you may be nervous and full with thrill all the time.

I didn't give perfect score since they didn't have main actress but I gave 99 since it was very nice even though they only made movie with guys.

 

Deep in the night, there is light car accident. The person in the front car take off the car and he acts like he is very sick. The person who made the accident in the back car (Kyungho) kill the front car owner with rude knife. Taeseok who is the policeman take over this case and investigate it.

In the other hand, Dongsu who is the boss of gang is living very well. He doesn't care about cops and he just cares of his business and competitive gang.

One day, Dongsu is involved in car accident with Kyungho and Kyungho tried to kill Dongsu as he has done but Dongsu was survived since he has fought a lot.

Taeseok went to Dongsu to get idea of murder since he was thinking that there is a murderer who is doing serial murder but Dongsu rejected it because he wanted to revenge by himself.

Dongsu who wants to revenge but doesn't have technique such as scientific investigation.

All of 3 people do not care about how or by what to get their purpose. It made them all look like devils and give us tense. Who will acquire his purpose ? 

This movie shows you story among gangs, cops and criminals. Also many action scenes will make you happy to watch it. Scene between boss of gang and murderer, Scene between gangs, Scene between gang and cop. There are various people and fight so you can see many kinds of action scenes. You will also feel Mr. Ma (Dongsu) 's special action scene since his action is different with other actors.

 

Story was nice and act of actors were enough to focus. This movie got high score from American critics site which makes me happy since it's hard to get good score even though the movie which are made by famous American director.

 

 

What attracts me immediately is that it combines the action thriller with the cop story in a new way and, incidentally, solidly handles the conventions of gangster cinema.

 

As much fun as it is to watch Lee beat people up and strut around in shiny pinstripe suits, it's just as much of a pleasure to watch him think it all through.

 

Yes, it's car crashes and fight sequences and dry jokes, but it's a mix that will make you wow, wince and guffaw in just the right amounts, all carried off with a gritty style.

 

It was hard to find criticism in American critics site so I took some from Korean critics.

 

It was good to see fist action scen in a good word but I'm sick of it to be honest. (좋게 말해 주먹맛, 솔직히 말해 지겹게 봤던 맛)

 

It's always similar to watch Mr.Ma's action whether he is in good role or not. His action is good enough to watch since he is the only one who can make this kind of action. There was lack of story logic in second half of movie so I feel sorry for that. (선하냐 악하냐의 차이만 있을 뿐 마동석표 액션영화의 패턴은 매번 유사하다. 그런데도 마동석만이 만들어 낼 수 있는 격한 타격감은 액션영화의 미덕을 충분히 살린다. 후반부 급격하게 무너진 개연성은 조금 아쉬운 점이다.)
