Gamble plays by not eyes but heart, Tazza - The hidden card (2014)

If you have watched Tazza series 1, you may be disappointed to Tazza 2 ( The hidden card ). There is just little connected story to Tazza series 1 so you can just watch the movie even though you didn't watch Tazza 1. Actually it has similar story line with Tazza 1 but it could be successful because performance of actors was great and Ms. Shin's exposure scene. I was little disappointed because I expected too much but it's worth to pay money for watching it.

 

Daegil is the nephew of Gonni who was the best gambler in moive Tazza 1. He has played gamble with friends and he plays gamble iwht other adults when he became adults since he has blood of gambler from uncle Gonni. One day, he met 'Mina Huh' in gamble with bully of neighborhood. He fell in love to her as soon as he sees her.

Meanwhile, the other uncle of Daegil is beaten by "Ghost" because he has complained much in Ghost's gamble house for keep losing money. Daegil went to gamble house to rescure his uncle and he stabbed Ghost acidently so he run away to Seoul. Daegil meets Charlie who he has know for long time and work at Kko-jang's gamlbe house since Charlie introduce him to Kko-jang. Daegil works as seller of cigarette or vitamin beverage at first but he becase player of gamble house by getting coincidence chance.

Daegil meets 'president Woo' in house and became couple in short time. Workers in Kko-jang's house has checked customers to earn big money and they choose president Woo as target. Daegil felt sorry to her so he suggestd to president Woo not to visit house but she visits house again. At last game, Daegil and workers open their cards but president Woo was the winner and Daegil loose his job directly since they were playing with Kko-jang's money.

Daegil wanted to earn money in toehr gamble houses so he plays gamble with Dongsik Jang who was introduced by Charlie. Daegil meets 'Mina Huh' again and he plays gamble with rage since he found Mina is captured by Donsik, although he dosen't know the reason. Daegil has won many times but he owe debt of 1.5 billion won in one game so his all properties were sold and his organ was sold to pay him first debt.

Daegil who has earned lot of money from gamable lost his organ now because of it. Can he escape from Dongsik Jang and quit the gamble ? What happened to gambler who has been good performer in short time ?

 

 

There was big expectation for Tazza 2 since Tazza 1 was very successful. Some people worried possiblity of Tazza 2 since they don't have powerful actor "Sengwoo Jo". However it's quite well-made movie, if I compare to Tazza 3.

Actually, Tazza 2 got criticism since it has very similar scenario with Tazza 1 but only with younger actors. It's true that there's no fresh story but it's enought to enjoy. Actor and actress perform very well and you can feel thrill in various cases so it's good to watch.

 

The film's tone is somewhere between Ocean's Eleven and the Sean Connery James Bond films, emphsizing the glamorous lifestyles of those at the top of the gambling word...

The film seems to have an entire deck of cards up its sleeve, and they're dealt out with more tedium than fun.

<Conclusion>

Mina Huh finds Daegil who has run away from Dongsik Jang and she tells him the truth with money. Charlie was already one team with Dongsik Jang so he changed the cards for Dongsik when Daegil was not watching him. Daegil decided to hide in his hometown and he meets "Gwang-ryeol Ko". He was partner of Gonni before and he still has skills as gambler so Daegil learns gamble under his coach. "Weak cards can win the powerful cards sometimes". Daegil is learning how to play gamble with heart not cards.

 

Daegil meets Charlie by accident and he found out htat their previous strategy to cheat president Woo was fake. It was actually strategy to cheat "Kko=Jang" so other workers earned money at that time. Daegil learned one more thing that what he can see is not only the truth.

 

Daegil found out that Mina Huh is captured by Ghost because of him so he rescued her by gambling with Ghost and he quits the gamble. However. Mr.Ko died in fight with Dongsik's man so Daegil makes a new team to revenge.

 

Daegil got stolen his money to Dongsik but president Woo steal this and Ghost steal it again and give it to Agui who is uncle of Ghost. People who want to get the money play the last gamble with their money and life. Daegil wins the last game as his uncle Gonni did. When Daegil tries to get money back, Gwang-chul who is brother of Mina take all the money so Daegil just left the house iwht Mina to have happy life. Few weeks later, Daegil found out that Gwang-chul took all the money to be sure there's no one who follow to steal the money again and he receive the moeny back from the place Gwang-cul hided it.
